Mental Health Awarness

‘Unbottled’ A Mental Health Awarness Podcast.

Since the beginning of this blog I have been publishing content full of various amounts of multimedia. I have produced video packages, embedded social media posts, SEO, YouTube videos and more.

All of these tools were used to help raise awareness surrounding mental health. Today I have chose another pathway which is to create a Podcast dedicated to hearing real life stories and triumphs.

The Unbottled podcast is an informative hourly show that delves into the important topics surrounding the stigma of mental health issues. Each episode I will bring on guests with expert knowledge accompanied by somebody who has an incredible story, in regards to their own personal experiences with mental health problems. The intention of the podcast being to educate listeners and provide them with professional insights and honest opinions, no matter how personal.

Here is my first ever Podcast. I was lucky enough to sit down with two insightful guests to discuss the importance of caring for your mental wellbeing.

Cyclist Leigh Timmis, who recently broke a world record for the fastest cycle across Europe. Leigh was joined by Dr. Phillip Clarke who was Leigh’s psychologist throughout his World-Record accomplishment.

We highlighted key areas of the stigma surrounding mental health in the media, in the workplace and in ourselves. Leigh gave me insight of his own battle with depression and how important it is to tell people you are not okay.

Leigh and Phil were incredible guests and I am thankful for their time
